The Rattata seemed relieved as he devoured the berries. Once he finished the last scrap, his body tensed up and he leapt back, twitching his tail menacingly. He was very much ready to battle now.

The Rattata began the battle with a Tail Whip, wagging his tail cutely to lower his opponent's Defense. It wasn't the most original strategy, but he wasn't the brightest Pokémon, either. [cs=3]  |

The Feebas's splashing about.. did absolutely nothing. Rattata looked at the trainer with a puzzled expression for a moment before turning back to the fish and lunging forward, using his signature Tackle attack. [cs=3] |
